From 6-8pm inside the magnificent W Hotel, San Diego Fashion Week is hosting their first of five free workshops. “What is Factoring” will feature Megyn Bell of Merchant Factors. She will cover traditional non-recourse factoring, credit protection, collection, A/R lending, and letters of credit for entrepreneurial and middle-market companies.



DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW

Under The Green Moon presents the experiences and artwork of Paul Turounet along the U.S. – Mexico border through various, multifaceted practices, including photography, site-specific installation, public art, video and personal narrative stories. Through the presentation of Turounet’s various projects, the discussion will explore the cultural implications and physicality of a border that functions as a symbol and metaphor for personal contemplation within the context and landscape of the highly charged social issues on the U.S. – Mexico border.

Last year, West Coast Bee.Z’s Creative Director, Arabella D’Acquisto, had the amazing opportunity to photograph San Diego Fashion Week. We are so excited to see what’s in store this time for Fashion Week’s first show of the year, happening at LA Jolla’s trendy sushi restaurant, Roppongi. This stylish and sociable event boasts models wearing local swimwear designs on a grassy catwalk, tasty cosmopolitans and an array of fashion bloggers snapping photos from every direction.






SOCIAL CHARITABLE MIXER

The Rescue House, a San Diego non-profit dedicated to finding loving homes for rescued cats, is having it’s annual Wine Reception and Silent Auction from 4-8pm in a charming private residence in Poway. Bid on a variety of luxury filled baskets while sipping wine with fellow feline lovers. All proceeds benefit The Rescue House.
